Just had this in Parramatta CBD twice in 24 Hrs. Going back an hour like the Tower has been reset to non daylight savings time. Came back to normal as I moved to different tower east or west. No reboot required.

A reboot of my phone sorted it out, I thought it was perhaps just a glitch with my phone, but with the data you're sharing, I'm not so sure of that now... The same thing happened to me on Saturday at Mascot near Botany Road/Gardeners Road, as well as this afternoon (Wednesday 1/11) when visiting SY2 (NSW). I thought it would have been fixed by now. It appears to be only specific areas, because it doesn't appear to be a problem in the CBD nor down near Campbelltown where I live. I have a Telstra SGS8, so Telstra can't claim it's "unsupported". I'm trying to build up the courage to call their support team about it but I am skeptical that they are going to know what to do or how to escalate it. I can't think of a better place to have the wrong time appearing on peoples phones but near a Data Centre where Techies are 100% certain to notice ;-) Reuben On 31/10/2017 7:26 AM, Tony de Francesco wrote: It wasn't just Pyrmont/Ultimo. Some Telstra cell tower in Pyrmont or Ultimo (my guess is somewhere around the NE side of Globalswitch, to the south end of Harbourside) is sending bad network time, one hour behind (so not DST). This has hit my phone several times over the last few days, and I know it's affecting a bunch of coworkers. Happy to provide more details off-list. _______________________________________________ AusNOG mailing list AusNOG@lists.ausnog.net<mailto:AusNOG@lists.ausnog.net> http://lists.ausnog.net/mailman/listinfo/ausnog _______________________________________________ AusNOG mailing list AusNOG@lists.ausnog.net<mailto:AusNOG@lists.ausnog.net> http://lists.ausnog.net/mailman/listinfo/ausnog
