Hello Fellow Ausnoggers,
I'm hoping that I can quickly pick the brain of someone more knowledgeable
in data centre networking than myself.
We have a customer in one of our racks in Equinix who has a single network
switch, and some servers connected to it. We currently have two connections

Hi AusNOGGers,
We have a client who is wanting 1-2 racks but they have a very high power
requirement of 10-20kW per rack.
NextDC is too expensive, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a low cost
facility that can cater for this need, in either Sydney or Brisbane.
Replies offlist to keep the noise
I'm assuming this is a result of NextDC announcing maintenance at S1 where
they are turning off one of the power feeds to your racks? We got one of
these as well.
Is it just me, or am I the only one concerned that NextDC have to turn off
power to one of our power feeds in our racks? We have been
if they do, well you'd want to

Hello Ausnog,
We have a customer who we are providing a 20Mbps AAPT Wholesale, MBE e-line
service for, and we have given them the service with Unlimited Internet
data - but subject to fair use.
The customer is smashing the service, 100% of the time, running it at at
the full 19-20Mbps, 24/7, ever

Hi Guys,
This is an age old discussion that I have had with many people over the
years, but am keen to find out what other people think about installing
switches into data centre racks.
Say for example you have 4 network switches to install into a rack
(standard 600mm rack), along with 20-30 1RU
Hello AusNOG,
Does anyone here offer (or know someone that does offer) Layer 2, 3G/4G
Internet services?
I'd prefer the Telstra Network, but Optus or Vodafone would be fine too -
whatever is most cost effective.
I could even get away with it as a layer 3 service, as long as I was able
to get a p
