We get a lot of calls from "Telstra Business" on spoofed Australian mobile or
US numbers trying to set up an appointment to have somebody come and review our
services.
I assume it's a rogue Telstra partner - because they never ask for access to
anything - just a time somebody can come and visit.

I'm confused as to how FTTC would suffer more from lightning strike related
issues than other ground conducting technologies?

We have a handful of services with GPTEXB3 enabled, they are all under a
business account though - I don't think this is available for residential.
It was a simple call, and more recently business online chat to get it enabled.
Of note though - IPv6 does not work with GPTEXB3 when you use telstr

We have used Jollyroger for a while - and noticed a considerable drop off in
calls when it is working (sometimes I break nuisance number detection and stop
sending calls).
It seems to annoy them enough that they blacklist our numbers.

We are using GPTEXB3 telstra.extranet for a few SIM's and WERE getting IPv6.
I thought I would just check before emailing - and we no longer get it - last I
can remember it working was end of December.
