Tony, I think spanning tree is often misconfigured or not configured and then gets blamed when it does what it’s supposed to do. For the OPs three switch problem, STP (preferably Rpvst+ or similar) is a simple and cost effective approach. Sure there are other solutions like MEC or vPC but they
