Just make sure you're using the conf file that belongs to the most
recent version.

I built avrdude 5.2 from CVS on cygwin on XP machine with libusb support
on 25th Nov
Just got to testing it today on a board. The board I have runs a tiny13 uP.
After the write and read it complains about a verify error on the first
byte of flash.
I did a dump of the flash and compared
That looks as if you were using the wrong avrdude.conf file. If you
run avrdude with -v, it will tell you which file it is using. You can
always specify a particular avrdude.conf using the -C option. The
ATmega128's device signature has been known to avrdude.conf for quite
a while now, so it's

I have build avrdude ver 5.2 under CYGWIN.
Everything seams to work fine but at the beginning I get strange message:
avrdude -p atmega128 -c avrispmkii -P usb -U flash:w:/HT300.hex
found 5 busses
avrdude.exe: stk500v2_recv_mk2: error in USB receive
avrdude.exe: AVR device initialized and re

Compile it yourself, wait for the next WinAVR version, or use Atmel's
stk500.exe command instead.
