I have imported the Inventory opening balances through Movment Journal but
when i try to post this journal it gives an error that Quantity cannot be
picked because inventory transactions with status On order, Reserved ordered or
Reserved physical are insufficient.
After looking into
This works for me :-)
Copy the movement journal to another journal. This way, all business logic
will be applied. Afterwards, you should be able to post the copied journal
without problems.

Ya i know it will work like this:)
but i want to know if its a Bug in AX or what? is there any other way
to get rid from this issue as i am getting same problem when i import
sale orders through Excel import utility.

logic and underlying features that would normally be carried out when adding

I would suggest through job create the movement journal and then post it.
this way it will take care of business logic and inventsum table will be
