Sorry Its not possible to make a 1:1 comparison between the 2 products.
I might be wrong in the following:
Ax is better when it comes to many users 200+
Ax is better for production.
Nav is faster when it comes
Changing price or qty on invoiced lines would ‘just’ change the order top open
and then the you can invoice it again, but have in mind that the qty cannot be
lower than the original qty and it will result in two invoices for the same

What are the steps to make the action new of a toolbar work?
I would like to use my own version of creating activities and have made a
copy of ActivitesAddEdit.aspx and then:
1) Created a page and tested the new control and it works
2) Created a menu item of type action

Yes It's possible to use PHP to Axapta.
You need to be sure that your PHP installation have the com module installed -
It's default in most PHP installations.
For best result, use PHP v5.1xx or newer.
