Hi All, I'm new to the group...We are looking to purchase a new ERP
system. We've narrowed our choices down to Navision and AX. I think AX
is a better fit for us, but many on the accounting side think it's
going to hard to use. I'd like some feed back as to hard much training
data entry folks will need? Thoughts general easy of use by AP and AR
clerks, doing sales returns. Customer Service finding sales orders,
doing research on why an orders has not shipped, finding the ETA of
back orders items... NAV seen to really shine in a lot these with easy
drill down features.

TIA
Lew

Some of our requirements
Were also doing a full WMS with scan guns for picking & packing. We
need to exchange flat files with customers and x.12 IDE with vendors.
AX vendor is using BizTalk for this. The folks are recommending third
party products Adeptia for flat file and Lanham for EDI. We also want a
web site for customer and sales reps to be able to check order status.
AX has this as standard function. NAV has not told us how they do this.
