I did an MRP run for a single sales order line and firmed the 2 planned
production orders MRP suggested using the futures date (since the sales
order is requested inside of the lead time). All the dates are
correct, but as soon as I re-run MRP I'm getting action messages to
advance those two orders I just firmed, even though the operation
scheduling makes it obvious that the component order cannot be
completed in time to achieve this (the futures date from MRP already
told me the earliest finish date).

Am I missing a setting that will let it still consider the futures date
on future runs? In my mind I shouldn't be seeing action messages re-
running MRP after accepting its suggestions (there are no other orders
in the system except the sales order and 2 firmed production orders).
The only time I should see an action message under this case is if the
component order has production reported on it and it becomes possible
to move up the start of the final assembly order. None of the
parameters under Master Planning->Setup->Plans->Master Plans change the
result.

Thanks in advance for any help.
