Hi, We have a potential opportunity to use item barcode/scanners for items or orders etc etc. I had never done anything with integration of RF scanners with Axapta.
I have a couple of questions 1. Barcoding and Scanners : Do you have scanners you would like to refer me assuming those scanners were already integrated with axapta in the market. How does the barcoding work?. Say, when I want to buy a scanner, does barcodes also come along with that package?. How does the scanner/Barcoding work? 2. Once I buy the scanner, I can take care of coding/modifying or pushing the data into Axapta systems. Does the scanner system have any internal database attached?. if so, what kind of database mostly they use or do they write in a flat files. I am trying to understand if I can directly push the data from scanner into Axapta or store the data from scanner in a small database or a flat text file and from there push the data into axapta in a batchmode... 3. Has any one you had developed this scanning with axapta? and what are pros and cons in that? Appreciate any small help. Thanks & Regards, subbu
