Hello, I instaled Dynamics AX4.0 SP1 then installed SP2. The Database name is "Dynamics" and AOS instance name is "MB". Then I detached the created database by the installer "Dynamics" and attached the customer database which has the same name "Dynamics". After that I get the following error when trying to start Dynamics Service. /-- Windows could not start the Dynamics Server$01-MB on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Evenet Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 100. --/
When I detach the customer database "Dynamics" and reattach the initially created database the service starts normally. I have Windows 2003 R3 Enterprise SP2 installed for both AOS and Database server and Sql Server 2005 SP3 For more information I am copying Errors in Application Event Log below ---------------------------- Event Type: Error Event Source: Dynamics Server 01 Event Category: None Event ID: 163 Time: 04:08:09 pm User: N/A Computer: MB Description: Object Server 01: SQL diagnostics: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open database "Dynamics" requested by the login.
