You need to configure pipelines if you need to change the data in XML or the
structure of XML. Otherwise pipelines are not required.

For that you will have to setup file system adapter and channel for this
adapter.
Please ensure that your outbound and inbound folders are different otherwise
the file you generated will also be consumed by AIF.
