I am
not a production expert but would like to be, so I have a few starter questions
I hope people can help me with:
1) I
would like to post a production order to 'Report as finished' before posing
route card. When I try I get the error message 'good qty is different to
pervious operation'. If I select 'Accept errors' I can do Report as
Finished but I am afraid what other errors might Axapta accept or what problems
I might face later (I plan to post route card and the good qty should be the
same as what was posted as report as finished. If good qty was different to
report as finished qty what would happen)? Is there any way to do rep as
finish first without 'accepting errors'?
2)
When I start a production and post picking list the items will be consummed at
average and the new item produced will be at the inventory cost price, is that
correct?
3) If
my item setup is FIFO, when I cost the production order the produced item's cost
will be calculated based on the consummed items costs recorded at consumption
(plus any route card costs) and that it is only during inventory closing
that actual cost is brought into the produced item's cost? I am a little
unsure does all consumption in axapta use average until inventory
closing/reclaculation?
