Yes you can. You have to establish domain trust between the two domains
before setting up the environment.

We have a customer that have 2 locations,L1 and L2.Each location is
separate domain controller and has its own exchange server and Active
directory, L1-ExSr1, L1-AcDr1 and L2-ESr2, L2-AcDr2. The customer wants
to implement Ax2009. Is it possible to implement AX with such a case: 2
domain controllers?? or it is a must to have one domain controller and
active directory?
