There was some problem in the database i think
I restored the AXDB and now i can access the AOT

another reason may be :
if you have carried out all the check lists for your
first run of axapta , then close the axapta and start
again.

i think the database is not connecting to the AOS.
Please try with 2-tier with the same database .

application is installed. If the database server is on
another machine then see that you have proper access

Can you check whether the AOS is running. Control Panel >> Navision Axapta Object Server. Check what is the AOS name, and also check your 3-tier configuration the Client tab.

If it is demo version, MSDE is the server it is using.
Just check your ODBC, and ODBC in Configuration
utility. It should be Local\GlobalTraning. Before
reinstalling, have you uninstalled ?
