A fw things:
The 50 dolalr posting is probalby purchase cosumption (i.e. the return cost - avg - on the credit note is different to the original PO invoice cost). Check out what is the psoting type on the ledger trans will tell you what type of transaction it is. If you want to return the actual cost (which it seems you are saying you do) use marking or enter a Recv Now negative qty. This will mean there is no consumption as return cost is set as the actual cost. Note also the 'create credit note' function should be default do the required marking but the 'Copy lines' function I dont think does the marking (from previous experience). Basically Axapta will apply avg even to return PO UNLESS you do marking. Once marking is done back to back actual costing is done. This balances are different because of the credit notes. We have Weighted avg. in the Inventory Model group, so Axapta does the next. Inventory GL We have On - Hand: Item A 100.00 Units Inventory Account Balance: 850.00 Cost Price 8.45 Financial Cost Amount 845.00. Purchase Order Invoice 1: Item A: 10 Units Inventory Account Balance: 900 Price Each: 9 On Hand: Item A 110.00 Units Cost Price: 8.50 Inventory Account Balance: 940.00 Financial Cost Amount: 935 Credit Note for Invoince 1: Return Item A: 10 Units Price each 8.50 (that is the average in that moment) Total Credit Note Amount for Inventory Module: 850.00 When the purchase was 900 This value is for Inventory Module: 850.00. When it must be 900.00 In GL does the next voucher: Inventory Account: - 850.00 Inventory Account: - 50.00 Vendor: 900.00 Does anyone knows about this. I will apreciatte.
