Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Licensing issues
Based on the posts earlier today on licensing I want to know the following:
1. It seems to me that Axapta's licensing is DB based. I make this
assumption based on the fact that if I go to Administration - Setup -
System - Licensing Info, it shows that I am licensed for 86 users and 4
AOS's. If I replicate this DB to my test environment it shows this same
info in that environment too. Am I right in making this assumption?
2. I have a license file that license me for 4 AOS's. Does this mean that
if I apply this file to my live, test and dev environments (3 seperate
application directories; 3 seperate DB's) I should be able to start up 4
AOS's for each of my 3 environments (thus running 12 AOS's simultaneously?)
