Dear Benny, 1) I believe Ax consider the open Production order, just check the coverage group attached to this item. 2) splitting can be done in Ax, you can split the Planned production Order, or the production order itself but it has to be with the status of started. Go to Production Order > Update > split
Hope it will help. rgds Fajar Hidayat Axapta Solutions Services Dept -----Original Message----- From: birzanto [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 12:35 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Net requirement with Production Order & Splitting Dear all, 1) I would like to know why whether Axapta considers also the current or open Production Order (with remaining Qty to be produced) in its Net Requirement. I have tried to make a simulation like this: Item 01 with Sales Order 111 pcs delivery date 1 Dec 04. Current On Hand is 0. Production Order of this item is available as much as 111 pcs with status scheduled and end date on 30 Nov 04. Why in Net requirement of item 01 the Planned Order is also generated for 111 pcs with requirement date on 30 Nov 04? Is this Planned Order only generated in Dynamic Master Plan but the Static Master Plan will consider the outstanding Production Order ? 2) Can anyone inform how to do the splitting process of Production Order in Axapta? Can we also set the lot quantity to be splitted (e.g. from original requirement of 1000 pcs we split it into 300, 300, 300 and 100 pcs)? Thank you in advance, ------------------------ Yahoo!
