Hi Harry,   One more thing that I noticed is that you can manually type a dimension that is not valid for the hierarchy. I understand that there is no easy way to make it work from every table where financial dimensions are used. Just something you should be aware of.   Thanks again f

hi Maurice   have you downloaded the project and tried it? thats exactly what this project does.   Further there is no need to override the lookup methods, there is just one form that has to be modified and it will enforce the validation hierachy   Most unfortunately I have forgotten to mention
