Subject: RE : [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Rounding real's

Hi Brandon,

What I got was no strange results, the results makes sense.  When I round at "0.02", that means my number is going to be rounded at 0.00, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06 or 0.08.  Depends on what my number is.  Example:

4.526 will be rounded to 4.52 because 4.526 is closer to 4.52 then 4.54.  At least, that's what I understand.

I hope that clear things up.

Regards,

Steeve...

Objet : [Axapta-Knowledge-Village] Rounding real's

Hello All,

I recently did a post: http://dynamics-ax.blogspot.com/2005/12/rounding-in-x.html about using the rounding method on a real. I thought it was strange how I had to get this to work, and another visitor to the blog posted a comment on how he tested out and got some strange results. Anyway I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject matter?

thanks,

Brandon

P.S. I will post it on the same post...with permission of course!
