Hi Humberto,
The tarfile contains the powerpc-apple-darwin8.8.0 directory that should
be the target of the AXIOM variable:
tar zxf axiom-ppc-2006110402.tar.gz
export AXIOM=`pwd`/powerpc-apple-darwin8.8.0
PATH=$AXIOM/bin:$PATH
AXIOMsys
should work at least on PowerPC Mac OS X 10.4 systems.

home, but HyperDoc can't connect to the X server:
