IIRC, we had an automated release checker sometime back. Some of the errors
we'v discovered could have been easily discovered by a release checker.
At the same time, here (http://commons.apache.org/releases/release.html) is
a well documented release guideline for RM's information.

Some comments for axis2.war distro :
1. I think the copyright notices within Axis2 web admin should be updated to
current years. It says 1999-2006. Shouldn't it be 1999-2008?
2. In module listing in the web app (
http://localhost:8080/axis2/axis2-admin/listModules), mex module is listed
twice
