Hey guys, this is Glen writing from Mark's machine here at the interop
(he has this frighteningly neat setup with a cellphone... but I
digress.).
After reading this, and taking a look at the details of the WSDL, I
concur with Greg's analysis of the situation. The fundamental problem
here is wit
I noticed a few problems with the dependencies document
- HTTPClient (latest cvs) seems strange to have a dependency on the cvs
head for a releaes version of the product. Couldn't we suggest a
particular date or label?
- Tomcat 4.1.10 is not downloadable at the provided link, Tomcat 4.1.12
is
I just noticed there is no 1.0 version in Bugzilla for Axis.

It would be really nice if the dependencies.html had a column which
indicated the type of dependency. For example, is it needed for build,
tests, examples and/or runtime.

It looks like the wrong files are up there for the distribution. The
timestamp looks right so perhaps the binary files are just misnamed,
should be 10 rather than rc2.

Thanks, Tom!
We will also handle making dinner reservations
On other projects using Bugzilla we have enabled the optional 'Target
Milestone' field to indicate when a bug is planned to be fixed. It is
extremely helpful for bug triage. Unfortunately that field is enabled
globally and not on a per project basis so it is not viable for this
effort.

I just confirmed that this is a JDK 1.4
issue. When I build Axis with JDK
1.4 the following test fails, everything works fine with JDK 1.3.1.

The WSDL2JAVA test on test/wsdl/refattr/refattr.wsdl
fails on my machine, apparently mangling is failing. I searched the mail archives and bugzilla for any hints but didn't find anything. The relevant portion of the build output
follows.
Thanks in advance for any help!
