directory for cached attachments

Hello, how can I get the directory to which Axis 1.4 caches received attachments? In the server-config.wsdd there's a property attachments.Directory. But how can a client get that directory? Is there any possibility to read the server-config from client side? And is it possible to change that

[Axis] attachment is not transported correctly
