Axis2 Web service with SOAP *and* XML-RPC interface possible?

Hi,

I have an Axis2 webservice created using wsdl2java from an WSDL file. I 
would now need an additional XML-RPC interface with the same semantics 
for this same webservice. I cannot write another webservice easily 
because the webservice uses a singleton in order to connect to a 
database. Is this possible using Axis2? And can you possibly point me to 
some documentation about this subject?
