Also make sure you use WebLogic6.1 sp4 as I found some bug while deploying
Axis on WebLogic6.1 sp2.

try to decompress your axisrc2.war file and into a directory, let say axis/
(i put it on .\config\myhost\applications\axis)
start your wls console, configure a new web application, set the path to
axis/ directory and deploy - target it.
When I Deploy axis(1.0, 1.1rc1, 1.1rc2) on WebLogic 6.1, weblogic throws flowing

I'm trying to run a WebSerice on Axis Beta 1. I can correctly deploy my web
Service and i get a server-config.wssd (my web service is correctly declare
inside).
But when I try to access to my Web Service I get the error "Error 404--Not
Found". Apparently I have a problem to access to my server

axis user group archives you should find the answer.
