which jdk? try 1.4 as JSSE is built-in. If you are sticking to 1.3 then make
sure you do a fresh
install of JDK1.3 and then JSSE (as per

Found a bug and fixed it

will need to pick up latest cvs or tonight's nightly build or patch your local copy of
axis as per
the commit message.
You need to set the secure socket factory to be used as SunFakeTrustSock
