Tomcat5.0 .. doesnot look in to classpatheach webapps has its own class loader..

rectified the problem by doing the following things.
The SOAPMonitorApplet.java file is inside the Axis folder which u placed in
the Tomcat webApps folder.

classpath. Adding just the LIB directory doesn't help.
