I agree. As I said, simply "sorry, all your complaints/concerns are invalid
by design". There are reasons behind those opinions. I say what I say not to
oppose every change the design team does, but for contributing with
something.

On my laptop, I think it's a little bit difficult to use the overlay
scrollbars. It's not very difficult, but it has been sufficient to annoy
me from time to time. I think it would help if I could increase their
sizes a little bit. Is that configurable?

More help
no, but when a LOT of people are saying the same thing and not just on this
mailing list but those concerns/complaints/dislikes about unity in 11.04 are
ignored and then 11.10 seems to be giving the same people more to dislike
i'd say that all those opinions seem like they're being ignored.

Of course, since all of 11.10 isn't molded to your personal preference that
means opinions don't count.

Whims for Uni

I'm currently trying the beta version of ubuntu 11.10. It's great but one
thing isn't consistent. It's workspace switcher. Now when you switch
workspaces with CTRL+ALT+ARROW the wallpaper does not move. There are only
moving windows. But when you open up workspace switcher, there is wallpaper
