Pressing the power button on your computer opens a dialog that lets
you shut down. There's no need for a keyboard shortcut for a separate
dialog for the same thing.
I agree with you on that, but what if the Tour is a way out of range ? say
I have to stand up in order to push the power button...
but small previews with titles would be great.
+1. I'm seing the Activity this way. either a static preview ( the
previews are always visible) or a dynamic preview ( preview is visible
only when mouse hovering the thumbs
what i love about your concept, is that you suggest a semantic

Well for 1) you can change the latence in CCSM ( default is 150 ms) may
be 200ms would be good for you.
for 2) there is not a solution for that , at least for now and please,
this thread is to discuss the consistency of the indicator menu when the
panel is transparent. Please open another
I really don't transparency is an issue when there are some under the
Menu. Quicklist and notfy are good Exemple. I have never seen an issue
when activating the menu.
and there also some misunderstanding from us: The transparency is really
not a problem because when we activate the menu
I agree 100% with you Frederik. when you set the panel to be transparent ,
the panel menu look very out of place.
It would be good or very good if the panel could use the same style as the
quicklist's one with the same level of transparency as the panel.
I too am anoyed by this behavior , but I have spoken with an Ubuntu Dev and
the issue is that file indexing is an heavier operation. I think the dev
are well awared about this.

I have seen many poeple complaining about the minimize issue. I have

to enable this feature.
I too am affected by this issue.
It would be good if 11.10 get this implemented.

zoom when we are moving the mouse over an icon on the launcher as Docky does
?
Unity has made a good step forward and it would good to make it more living
by adding this annimation, this should be the reponse of the
I like this idea, but I don't like the icon of the expose mode ! it makes me

Hi All Friends,
Warning : I'm not a designer, but just a daily user of Ubuntu.
So let have a look on the Desktop paradigm.
We used to understand the Desktop as the one on real life. The desktop
contains our files(can contain Personal Data, Music, Pictures, Movies), this
is the way we used it

I think we should have the possibility to add any file from any Computer
once we are logged into Ubuntu One from another Computer.
