Paul,    My grandparents Jose and Francisca J. (Almeida) Pereira immigrated to Massachusetts from Maia, Ribeira Granda, Sao Miguel. Do you have any info on the Pereira side of your family? They left with a one year old child named Umberto. Arrived in Boston in 1904.
