Gularte, married to Joana da Ressurreicao daughter of Joao Pereira de Quadros
and Mariana Machado. Joana had a daughter Isabel de Sao Joao, who had son Jose
born in Urzelina on 26-mar-1749 (unknown father) and later
Nancy, It may not be so but I did compare it to other short formed surnames
and Pereira seemed to be the right one. I do hope someone else may be able
to verify it.
Yes, I'm unto Pico and Terceira...it's like discovering the islands allover

records! Sounds like my Abarca and Azambuja ancestors.
Joao de Quadros ? Pereira? I just can't see a P in the abbreviation so it makes
me unsure since there just isn't a leg on the first letter
