Thanks so much for sharing the info about the CCA site. It's been about 6
mos. since they stopped sharing the info. All we can do is hope that they
will continue with the registos soon! It has been so great for all of us
to be able to see the records online instead of going to the local FHC
I do the same thing - periodically email them and butter them up and tell
them what a great site they have and I look forward to more! Since Terri
just became our wagon master, let's all jump on the train and send them some

It sounds as if you had your son's mitochondrial DNA tested. DNA on
Ancestry is very, very loosely organized. I think either I started an Azores
DNA group over there or Katherine Borges did. It probably has only 2 or 3
people in it. I'll call Katherine. When DNA started to benefit
I just sent them a thank you letter so I guess I'm on one the the lead
wagons.huh !

island to escape persecution so some of them are carrying the Jewish
surname. I want to say Pimentel is one of them.
