Pam, I went to the Census and Voters list main page at Ancestry, put in Nascimento, and turned up dozens of Hawaii residents. When I encountera commonly mispelled name I do my searches by the first name in a location and scan the usually alphabetical list to see the spelling variations. Eric On

Eddie M, No, usually if one finds two males with the same name, then the first one died before the 2nd one was born. I said usually. I think there are probably a couple of people on this list who may have males with the same name who both lived to adulthood, but I'd say that was the exception.

Pam S, One male godparent? Because no females were available? Or they invoked the Virgin Mary? My nephew has 2 godparents (they were a married couple) and my niece only has 1 godparent (me). Maybe other list members have other ideas. Why do they have the same godparents for multiple children?
