I wonder if anyone one knows of anywhere to find records of home sales on
Sao Jorge? Did people who left the island sell the house or just abandon
them? My parents just got back fro Sao Jorge and think they found the house
my great grandfather lived in based on talking to the current owner

Another question. One of the people who my parents spoke to on Sao Jorge
said that the priest kept a record of who came for confession and that is
how they knew when someone left island. I went to the Azores online
database and the confessions come up blank. Is there another
