Hi Mike,
I have many Pico ancestors with da and de but when I search NEPS I always check
both ways to see how it was entered since I find more of them without it and
it's been that way since I started searching in 2005.

Azorean Embassy. They were very generous with tourist booklets about the
islands that I was interested in visiting.
They were very nice color brochures used to promote travel to the islands.
They were free.

Manny,Mike's (and my) ancestors are from the lugar of Cruz do Redondo in Piedade. It's near the cemetery which is near the road circling the island.I'm sure I have pictures, but they would be slides from ages ago and I have yet to dig them out and even show my own family - got to get around to
