My grandmother's oldest brother died in New Bedford Mass in September 1963.
His last known address was 111 Stephen St. St John's Cemetery does not
have him buried there. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Good morning; new to the Azores searching. My family members are Soares
Botheilho and Rodrigues from the Azores. Mainly from Sao Miguel area. Any
suggestions where to start.
Eileen RJ,
Start with this how to from the Azores
Eileen,
Did you call St. John's Cemetery or just look at FindAGrave onlinethey
SJ online records only go to around 1956...unless a person posted there on
their own? If you did not call them, do that first (508) 992-1071 and be
very nice when you ask. Then call Rural Cemetery
(508) 991-6191
St. John the baptist church is closed. I think you have to call St.
Lawrence cemetery for the records now. I believe that's where they were
transferred too. Try rural cemetery as well.

One of my projects is to do
the genealogy of villages. I start in 1911 and go back to the earliest records
of villages, grouping all individuals in families.
So far I have completed the
following villages:
Terceira
Island: Ribeirinha, Feteira, Porto Judeu, São Sebastião, Fonte do Bastardo,
Cabo
