I mailed back my DNA test today. How long does it take to do? Do I go

Hi Al,
You'll be notified as will the admins when your results are posted. You'll be
given directions showing you how to view your results online. If you need help
one or more of the admins will help you. This could take several weeks or more
depending on how busy the lab is processing results
Antonio,
I don't seem to have any continental Portugal matches at first glance, but i
did notice i have a few matches from continental Spain. One is a 4th
cousin-remote relation and there is no tree posted, but surnames seem to be
half from Spain and half Poland. The other match (3-5th

In addition to what was said, FTDNA will send an automated email to you
(and all us admins) once your DNA arrives and is checked it. It will be
batched on Wednesdays and extractions always begin on Thursdays.
Rick may not be aware, but only admins can see the expected dates now. On

I can't make out some of the words in the column that explains who she is

I'm not surprised also there is no contact information for the
administrator. When I type in Portugal DNA Project this is all I get.
Although it all looks nice and neat I don't know who to contact if I have a
question.

That's a good clue, the Silva surname is very common in Galicia, many of
our ancestors that settled in the Azores were from the North West of
Portugal we were essentially Southern Galicia until Porugal split from
Galicia. I have read due power shifting from Braga to Santiago de
Compostela
Antonio,
Azores immigration to Brazil dates back to the 16th century up to the 20th.
My guess is that nowhere in the world there are more descendants from
people from Azores (or from continental Portugal for that matter) than
Brazil, not even Azores itself or Portugal.
So, you can expect many more
Antonio,
The link you provided goes to the Public Results page which is after the
main page. Admins are listed on the main page. You won't see me, Rick,
Nancy Jean, or Kalani listed on the Azores Public Results page either.

Hi Geraldo,
Yes I was really happy to find out where all my relatives went to in Brazil
I knew that many had immigrated there and my matches are in the regions
where I knew there was a concentration of immigration from the Azores. The
point I was trying to make is there is a piece missing yet,
