After Nicolau's name is the Portuguese word for widow (at least to me)
followed by his deceased spouse Ana de Jesus. To find his parents you would
need to find his marriage to Ana.

Adão is Adão whether the person is born in Lisbon or in Pico. There are
exotic names in the Azores (unless people came from exotic places...),
sometimes just weird names... But Adão (Adam) is a pretty norm
I may not have been clear the root of the Portuguese word is from Hebrew which
means Adam in English according to what I found on google.
