Early 1700's there are no grandparent names listed. They don't start
listing grandparents until about *1860.* The name of the dad is Manoel
Furtado, you are right, Mom is Cathrina don't know what the last name is
unless the priest is trying to abbreviate Pereira. You have the godfather
right.

I haven't seen an actual one. They used to be filed under the name of the
notary, not the deceased. The only thing I've used the online abstract for
was to find ancestors who died after 1911 or so. My 2 great appears to have
died in late 1931 as the "date range" says 1932 Jan 8.
