You have to read the Terms and Conditions very carefully.
The other companies in the article were not around when the Azores project
was founded with Family Tree DNA (FTDNA). FTDNA is very, very ethical and
very upfront about what they are doing. However, I take it you did not test
there.
I believe the literal translation for "recibidos" is received, but when
translating a document, it is to be taken as "married in" as you thought.
