parents were from, or told you where the parents were married, that's one
more piece of information than you had before.

I've seen the name in various records in my searches. I imagine those of us
who have been researching many years have seen it.
You need to start with the U.S. records and work your way back in time. All
of Europe (including the Azores and the mainland) have their records
organized on the
Antonio Teodoro married a few times, after my great grandmother died. All her
children stayed in the Azores. But his other children by other wives are the
one who left for the states. I don't know their names so I can't search the US
records for them, I don't even know the names of the other wiv
