I think it is Margarida Natalia Branco, age 19, natural of Livramento,
Ponta Delgada, daughter of Antonio Branco Custodio and Francisca de Jesus.

Debbie,
We try to do it about every 18 months or so. It depends on the availability

So the next one would probably be in the fall of 2020 (first week of Sept

Thanks Maria, Angela and Cheri for chiming in on this one. I thought it was

Hi Sam,
That's another female religious name, because there's a Nossa Senhora das
Dores.
You can check a list of these names on wikipedia:

Rick; Do you mean that a bride of one name say, Ana Francisca would marry and
change her name to her mother-in-laws say Jacintha Maria? Talk about making

I’m not sure. The mother’s as well as the father’s names are the same. If
they were all Maria’s it would be one thing but the name is Jacintha, not
as common.

Hi Leonor,
Could the men with the same name be first cousins?
I am also of Italian origin and apart from the names Saverio Saturno and Andrea

Sam, Yes I have noticed that. I kind of think the bride sometimes took her
mother in law’s name as a means to be accepted into the family better.
