I tried the refresh in case my pages were cached. That didn't work. I'll
ask Kathy when I see her in about 10 days. Thanks, Cheri

It's there. Click on the Sao Miguel Index sub-menu instead of just Sao

I'll ask Kathy. Without screenshots, I'm just not seeing what you are

Ok, think I see the confusion. The said index *is not on the Tomba site*,
it is on the on the World Gen site here. Scroll to bottom:

Those are not Canto's indices. Those are indices contributed by
genealogists (THANK YOU)! I can click on your link, but I need to know how
to NAVIGATE to it. I will ask Kathy in 10 days when I'm in Salt Lake and
she can watch me (mis)navigate. Because clicking on the map, scrolling down

Can some kind soul tell me what this document is all about? I know that
“Perfilhacoes” with the tilde, means profiles but; I don’t know what that means
in reference to this document. I think it is about my grandfather’s brother
but; can’t figure it all out It goes on for several pages.

Dh! Sorry, I've been updating screen shots for Salt Lake and because
the menus don't "stick" on a PC, I've been doing the screen shots the other
way, by clicking on the map. So that became my new habit. LOL

Top Right: Is it Maria daughter of Jose Caetano Valadao and Francisca? Does

Mom looks like Francisca dos Santos. I believe you are correct on the rest.
The grandparents are usually found only in the 3rd time period (1860
onwards). No grandparents here.

when he passed away. He was a baby and my Mother doesn't remember due to age

Hi Maria,
Births and deaths that have occured within the last 100 years are at the
respective Civil Registry. If you are talking about Fenais da Luz on Sao
Miguel island, you could write them and maybe they will look since you have
a name and a date range.
