I am looking for ancestors of Manuel Rodrigues Alemão, from Capelo, Faial, around 1660. His descendents then lived in Castelo Branco, Faial, and their surname evolved to Pereira Chaves. They came to the portuguese continent around 1750, to settle in Alentejo, where my paternal family comes from to this day. Any help will be appreciated. I have a FTDNA test for me and my parents as well.
