A researcher from another site has asked this question and I pose this to the experts on this list.
"Does anyone know how to do a download of U.S. Census data? I need to download, or get an extract, of 1920 census data for a specific county in Michigan." Best I can figure, you have to go to Ancestry.com 1920 census, click on exact and put in the name of the county in Michigan and then you get the index for all 125,000+ (50 per page) but you have to click on a name to get an actual census page and then go to page 1 for that Ward and then print/download each page (time consuming). I know you can also select a specific township within the County and do it that way. Anyone know an easier way to do this? Thanks.
