Census records for the Azores.
Has anyone ever used such records for genealogical purposes?
Here's some basic information below but I want to be able to look at the actual
census records for my ancestors in São Miguel.

The only census type record that exists for the Azores are the Confession
Rolls. The priest recorded the names of everyone who received confession
during Lent, I believe. They are church records and each individual church
holds their own records. Or what exists.

The Portuguese census should cover the Azores as well, but to my knowledge,
the raw data no longer exists or at least has not yet been provided online.
