Blaine Bettinger is doing a DNA study on the X chromosome and wants a sample size of 500. He's got 150 now. So if you've tested a grandparent/grandchild (or you ARE either the grandparent/grandchild), please consider submitting to the study. You don't need a grandparent from each side, but if you have a grandparent from each side, it would be really good for Blaine.
He's studying the recombination rate of the X chromosome. What that means is how badly the cards get shuffled (DNA) when it gets passed down to the next generation.
