Yes, it says "Santos Velhos" but you got it...it should be recorded Santos-o-Velho. and do you know why? Simply because there are two (2) in Lisbon, named Santos: Santos-o-Velho (church) and Santos-o-Novo (monastery). Have a look. http://www.openhouselisboa.com/places/convento-de-santos-o-novo/

Rosemari and Cheri. There used to be the parish of Santos as well but in 2012 it was separated and absorbed by the parish of Estrela. The bairro/neighbourhood of Santos i.e. where the church was built is still there but no longer considered of "freguesia". Hope this helps clarify. Margaret
