Lisbon church records are online same place Azores and fairly easy to find if
you have church and date to go by. They also have some passport records too.

Yes, it says "Santos Velhos" but you got it...it should be recorded
Santos-o-Velho. and do you know why?
Simply because there are two (2) in Lisbon, named Santos: Santos-o-Velho
(church) and Santos-o-Novo (monastery).
Have a look.

Oops, and Candido's mom's name, right at the watermark. I have an idea, I
just want to be sure. Thanks!

It looks like Santos something, I think Santos Velhos, but I'm to record it
as
Rosemari and Cheri.
There used to be the parish of Santos as well but in 2012 it was separated
and absorbed by the parish of Estrela. The bairro/neighbourhood of Santos
i.e. where the church was built is still there but no longer considered of
"freguesia".
Hope this helps clarify.

Cheri,
It reads "igreja de Santos da cidade de Lisboa" The full name is actually
Santos-o-Velho. I was there last month.
Here's a link for a quick view.

Her father, Candido Jose was from Igreja dos Santos in Lisboa? Or just
