You'll see on the map that Silveira is northwest up the coast from Lajes.
It's halfway to Sao Joao.
I've seen the records for Silveira usually with Lajes , but epending on
where in the area the family
lived or what family she married into, the records could be in Sao Joao
also.

Yes, she is saying she is from Silveira. It's more like a neighborhood of
Lajes. Someone who researches Lajes will tell you which church to look in.

Did you forget the link?
Silveira is kind of like neighborhood near Lajes. Someone in our band is
from there. I'm not sure if the records are found in Lajes do Pico proper
through. Someone who researches Pico will know for sure.
